Did you know that I have a popular pin over on Pinterest? It’s a recipe for a healthy snack I developed to feed my grandkiddos called Healthy Toddler Energy Balls. I don’t know how many times it has been pinned and repinned, but it brings lots of visitors to this blog.

It’s already been a week since World Pangolin Day, but those amazing little animals are still in peril. Their defense mechanism, rolling into a ball, makes them hard for another animal to get them, but oh, so easy for a human poacher to pick up. Any farmer who runs across a pangolin on his land knows they are easy money.

Mission Bay Sunset

Here in San Diego we’ve had one amazing sunset after another. Winter time skies make for beautiful shows. When June comes around, the marine layer obscures the horizon and gorgeous sunsets are few. If you want to see some fantastic shots from a favorite San Diego scenic photographer of mine, click on those links. Who just happens to be of Philippine descent, and did some Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda relief with the proceeds of his photography business.

Thank you for stopping by!
